Free online kundli vs paid PDF reports — what you get in Kundli 8

What stays free (the online kundli preview) and what needs Full Access (the PDF report), with current prices, the explore period, and a simple way to decide.

Kundli sites often blur “free kundli” and “free PDF”. In Kundli 8 they are different things: the online Kundli preview is free; a PDF report needs Full Access. This page says exactly what that means so there is no surprise at checkout.

What is free

  • Creating a kundli online from birth date, time and place.
  • Reading the preview on screen: Ascendant, Moon sign, Nakshatra, D1 and D9 charts, Vimshottari dasha and Panchang details.
  • Browsing the Kundli 8 Manual and these Learn guides.
  • The downloadable PDF report — never free.
  • Sections of the Complete Report that the Pricing page lists as Full Access.
  • Matching tools require sign-in and eligible access; the public matching page explains the process.

Side-by-side

  • Use case: look at a chart, discuss it live. Free preview is enough.
  • Use case: hand a document to family, a pandit or keep a file. Choose a PDF, so Full Access.
  • Use case: save and reopen later. Sign in; saving your kundli works in your account.
  • Use case: print. PDF.

Current prices

Full Access plans are ₹999 / ₹2,499 / ₹9,999 in India and $10 / $24 / $99 internationally, as shown on Pricing. The Pricing page is the source of truth; if it differs from this guide, trust the Pricing page.

The explore period

A limited 15-day explore period lets you try the workspace. PDF export stays gated during it. See the Pricing page for the current terms.

How to decide

  1. Make the kundli free first and check that Lagna, Moon sign and nakshatra match what you expect.
  2. Ask whether you need a file or a screen. Only a file requires the PDF.
  3. If you are a pandit with many clients, read the pandit checklist.
  4. Read the Manual’s Reports & PDF chapter for what a report contains.

What neither includes

Neither the free preview nor the PDF can guarantee an event. Interpretations are traditional associations, written conditionally. Some advanced calculations — for example Vargas beyond D1 and D9, or a complete Shadbala — stay display-only or provisional and are labelled as such, rather than being sold as a feature. Indic scripts render in PDF, but copy/search can be limited. Astrology is not medical, legal or financial advice. A Hindi version of this topic is at कुंडली PDF रिपोर्ट कैसे बनाएं.
