विंशोत्तरी दशा वैदिक ज्योतिष की एक traditional timing प्रणाली है। इसमें नौ lords को fixed अवधि देकर कुल 120 years का क्रम बनाया जाता है। जन्म के समय sidereal Moon जिस nakshatra और उस nakshatra के जिस degree-part में है, उससे पहली Mahadasha का lord और उसका बचा हुआ balance निकाला जाता है। इसलिए केवल उम्र, नाम, birth year या Moon sign देखकर current Mahadasha reliably नहीं बताई जा सकती।

AstroSage का प्रकाशित explainer भी कहता है, “This method is based on Moon Nakshatra,” और first lord को Moon के nakshatra lord से जोड़ता है।[1] यह calculation framework का source है; source के event-prediction, accuracy या commercial-remedy claims इस guide में adopt नहीं किए गए हैं।

नौ lords और पूरा 120-year sequence

Kundli 8 के current engine और प्रकाशित Vimshottari table में एक ही fixed order है: केतु 7, शुक्र 20, सूर्य 6, चंद्र 10, मंगल 7, राहु 18, गुरु 16, शनि 19 और बुध 17 वर्ष। इन durations का योग 120 है। “120” मानव life expectancy की medical statement नहीं; यह इस traditional system का पूरा allocation है। हर व्यक्ति जीवन में सभी नौ full Mahadashas अनुभव करे, ऐसा जरूरी नहीं।

Sequence circular है। उदाहरण के लिए सूर्य के बाद चंद्र, मंगल, राहु, गुरु, शनि, बुध, केतु और शुक्र आते हैं। किसी convenient interpretation के लिए बीच का lord चुनना या क्रम बदलना valid calculation नहीं है। शनि Mahadasha की अलग guide 19-year Saturn period को detail में समझाती है; यहाँ सभी lords का common framework canonical है।

जन्म की पहली Mahadasha कैसे तय होती है?

360° zodiac को 27 बराबर nakshatra sectors में बाँटा जाता है; हर sector 13°20′ है। नौ lords का क्रम तीन बार repeat होकर 27 nakshatras को cover करता है। Engine sidereal birth Moon की longitude से nakshatra index निकालता है और उस index को nine-lord cycle में map करता है। इसीलिए exact Moon position जरूरी है—सिर्फ broad Moon sign पर्याप्त नहीं।

AstroSage भी लिखता है कि 27 nakshatras नौ planets/lords में distribute होते हैं, nakshatra lord birth की Mahadasha तय करता है, और Moon की nakshatra के अंदर degree progress duration balance को बदलती है।[1] उदाहरण के लिए Krittika का published example first balance को Sun से शुरू करता है; मगर exact balance व्यक्ति की Moon degree पर निर्भर रहता है।

Birth balance: पहली दशा हमेशा full क्यों नहीं होती?

मान लें birth Moon अपने nakshatra का 40% पार कर चुका है। उस nakshatra lord की full Mahadasha का 40% birth से पहले elapsed माना जाएगा और लगभग 60% balance birth के बाद चलेगा। General relation है: remaining balance = lord की fixed अवधि × nakshatra का remaining fraction। यह illustration है, किसी reader की personal date नहीं।

यदि Moon nakshatra की शुरुआत के बहुत पास है तो first period का बड़ा हिस्सा बच सकता है; अंत के पास है तो छोटा हिस्सा। इसलिए “मेरी पहली Mahadasha 20 साल की थी” केवल इसलिए सही नहीं कि first lord Venus था। Full Venus allocation 20 years है, लेकिन birth balance 20 से कम हो सकता है। Rounded birth time, wrong timezone या ayanamsa boundary के पास Moon होने से nakshatra/pada बदल सकता है; ऐसी स्थिति में false precision से बचें।

Mahadasha, Antardasha और deeper levels

Mahadasha broad parent period है। हर parent के अंदर वही नौ lords proportional child periods बनाते हैं। Published order Vimshottari Dasha → Antardasha → Pratyantar Dasha → Sookshma Dasha → Prana Dasha है।[1] Kundli 8 current running chain को MD → AD → PD → SD → PrD labels में दिखाता है।

Current engine child duration को parent span × child lord years / 120 से calculate करता है और order parent lord से शुरू करता है। नौ children parent interval को exactly tile करते हैं। Level छोटा होने से interpretation scientifically stronger या guaranteed नहीं हो जाती; बल्कि birth-time, calendar and method assumptions के प्रति sensitivity अधिक महत्वपूर्ण हो जाती है।

एक bounded Antardasha example

मान लें पूरा 10-year Moon Mahadasha example parent है। Moon/Moon Antardasha का traditional proportional share 10 × 10/120 years, Moon/Mars का 10 × 7/120 और Moon/Rahu का 10 × 18/120 होगा। क्रम Moon से शुरू होकर Mars, Rahu, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Ketu, Venus और Sun तक जाएगा। Actual software day spans parent की exact From/To ordinals से बनाता है, इसलिए rough decimal-year arithmetic को displayed calendar dates का replacement न मानें।

अगर birth पर first Mahadasha fractional है, current product उस shortened first parent span को child allocation का base बनाता है। यह implementation detail important है: generic online table से full-period Antardasha dates copy करके personal report से compare करना mismatch दे सकता है। Exact comparison में same birth inputs, timezone/DST, coordinates, ayanamsa, date convention और engine version use करें।

सही Dasha dates के लिए कौन-से inputs चाहिए?

• Birth date और exact local time: Moon longitude और boundary status के लिए।
• Historical UTC offset/DST: आज का timezone पुराने birth instant पर automatically सही नहीं होता।
• Birth place coordinates: complete chart/Lagna context के लिए; Dasha interpretation में lordship बदल सकती है।
• Selected ayanamsa: sidereal Moon और nakshatra boundary इस choice से प्रभावित हो सकती है।
• Consistent calendar/method: दो tools compare करते समय settings और date inclusivity match करें।

Birth time केवल “सुबह” या rounded hour हो तो exact minute-level PrD prediction honest नहीं। पहले documentary record खोजें; uncertainty को visibly carry करें। Lagna/inputs guide timezone, coordinates और ayanamsa को detail में explain करती है।

Kundli 8 report में Vimshottari कैसे देखें?

1. Free Kundli में verified birth details और historical offset भरें।
2. Saved report में Vimshottari section खोलें और Mahadasha की From/To table देखें।
3. “Running now” chain में MD, AD, PD, SD और PrD lord तथा dates अलग पढ़ें।
4. Birth की पहली row के years full fixed duration से कम हों तो उसे error न मानें; वह nakshatra balance हो सकता है।
5. Report के lord-wise text को computed date table से अलग evidence class समझें।

Kundli 8 chart-specific From/To dates और current nested chain compute करता है। लेकिन lord-wise “Dasha Phal” prediction corpus generic prose है, complete personalized forecast नहीं। Report authenticated/noindex है; यह public article किसी visitor का saved chart load नहीं करता और आपकी current dasha certify नहीं करता। Production भी owner-approved older release पर है; local content completion को live availability न समझें।

Dasha फल responsibly कैसे पढ़ें?

Traditional interpretation में केवल lord का natural “good/bad” label पर्याप्त नहीं। Published calculator guidance भी outcomes को Lagna और chart placement के अनुसार varying बताती है।[2] कम-से-कम lord की sign/house placement, Lagna lordship, associations, aspects, dignity/strength, relevant house, MD–AD combination और current transit context अलग note करें। अलग schools के rules mix करके certainty न बनाएं।

एक ही Mahadasha सभी लोगों के लिए समान घटना नहीं बनाती। “Saturn means loss,” “Venus means marriage,” “Jupiter means child” या “Rahu means foreign travel” जैसे one-word shortcuts conditional tradition को guaranteed prediction बना देते हैं। Real decisions में qualifications, health evidence, consent, finances, labour market, law और relationships की actual facts primary हैं। किसी डरावने period label पर urgent consultation, महंगा gemstone, loan-funded puja या medicine change न करें।

Vimshottari, transit और दूसरे Dasha systems में अंतर

• Vimshottari: natal Moon nakshatra आधारित fixed 120-year timing cycle.
• Sade Sati/Dhaiya: current Saturn और natal Moon sign का transit relation; यह Mahadasha नहीं।
• Yogini Dasha: अलग lords/names और 36-year cycle; Vimshottari का duplicate vote नहीं।
• Ashtottari: अलग applicability, nakshatra और duration rules; default interchange नहीं।

Calculation और scientific evidence की सीमा

Moon longitude, nakshatra sector, proportional fractions और calendar dates reproducible mathematical operations हो सकते हैं। उनसे future event या personality infer करना अलग astrological claim है। UC Berkeley Understanding Science के अनुसार careful tests में testable astrological expectations के evidence ने astrological ideas की validity support नहीं की।[3]
