शुरुआत किसी डरावने dosha, gemstone या एक planet के फल से नहीं करें। पहले birth details verify करें, फिर chart style और Lagna/पहला भाव पहचानें। उसके बाद तीन अलग layers—भाव, राशि और ग्रह—को जोड़ें। अंत में house lord, aspects, strength और dasha जैसी timing layers देखें। यही क्रम एक symbol को पूरी कहानी मानने की गलती कम करता है।

Drik Panchang जन्म कुंडली को 360° का Bhava Chakra बताता है जो houses में divided है; उसका current interface chart के साथ Graha, Bhava details, divisional charts, Vimshottari Dasha, Ashtakavarga, Shadabala और Bhavabala अलग layers में दिखाता है।[1] इसका practical अर्थ है कि chart केवल बारह boxes की तस्वीर नहीं, कई linked calculations का summary है।

Step 0: Chart पढ़ने से पहले inputs जाँचें

AstroSage भी kundli बनाने के लिए date, time और place को आवश्यक बताता है।[2] Precise chart के लिए date, exact local birth time, उस तारीख पर लागू UTC offset/DST, latitude-longitude और selected ayanamsa लिखकर रखें। आज का timezone पुराने birth year पर blindly लगाना या “सुबह” को exact minute मान लेना fabricated precision हो सकता है।

Time uncertain हो तो पहले certificate, hospital record या family diary खोजें। एक uncertainty window में Lagna, Moon pada या divisional output बदलता है या नहीं, यह compare किया जा सकता है; लेकिन description “सही लग रही है” इसलिए convenient time चुनना objective verification नहीं है। Lagna और input sensitivity की अलग guide इस boundary को detail में समझाती है।

Step 1: North, South या East chart style पहचानें

एक ही planetary data अलग regional diagrams में दिख सकता है। AstroSage के North Indian tutorial में first-house position fixed है और houses वहाँ से anti-clockwise count होते हैं।[3] South Indian format में signs fixed रहते हैं; इसलिए box को देखकर house मानने से पहले Lagna marker से houses count करें। East/Bengali style की geometry अलग दिखती है, पर मूल सवाल वही है: Lagna कहाँ है, कौन-सी राशि उस भाव में है और कौन-से ग्रह वहाँ रखे हैं?

Step 2: भाव, राशि और ग्रह को अलग रखें

• भाव / House: chart का life-area reference—जैसे 1st self, 4th home, 7th partnership, 10th work.
• राशि / Sign: उस house या planet का zodiac context; North chart में printed 1–12 अक्सर Aries–Pisces sign codes हैं, house numbers नहीं।
• ग्रह / Planet: Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu और Ketu की computed position.

उदाहरण: “Mars सातवें भाव में” और “सातवीं राशि Libra में Mars” एक statement नहीं हैं। पहले में house position बताई गई; दूसरे में sign position। Responsible reading दोनों के साथ Lagna, lordship, degree, aspects और wider chart context देखती है।

Step 3: 12 भावों का quick reference

ये traditional topic labels हैं, diagnosis या guaranteed events नहीं। Sixth house देखकर बीमारी तय करना, eighth देखकर death timing देना, seventh देखकर divorce घोषित करना या tenth देखकर exact job promise करना responsible use नहीं है।

Step 4: किसी एक प्रश्न को कैसे पढ़ें?

1. Question के relevant house को चुनें; पूरे chart को एक साथ decode करने की कोशिश न करें।
2. उस house में कौन-सी राशि है और उसका lord कौन है, note करें।
3. House में occupants हैं तो उनकी sign, degree और conjunction देखें। Empty house का अर्थ “जीवन क्षेत्र absent” नहीं होता।
4. House lord किस house/sign में है, यह link बनाएं। एक lord कई houses own कर सकता है, इसलिए simple good/bad label अधूरा है।
5. Aspects, conjunctions और strength indicators बाद में जोड़ें। अलग schools की aspect/house methods अलग हो सकती हैं; method label रखें।
6. अंत में dasha और transit को traditional timing context के रूप में देखें—promise या certainty के रूप में नहीं।

Step 5: House lord, conjunction और aspects

House lord उस राशि का planetary ruler है जो relevant house में आती है। Reading केवल occupant पर रुकती नहीं: lord कहाँ बैठा है, किन planets के साथ है, किन references से aspect माना जा रहा है और strength tables क्या कहती हैं—ये context जोड़ते हैं। फिर भी “strong” का अर्थ automatic success और “weak” का अर्थ automatic failure नहीं है।

Conjunction का मतलब दो या अधिक planets का एक sign/house context share करना है; exact degrees closeness बदल सकती हैं। Aspect के नियम Parashari, Jaimini और KP जैसे systems में समान नहीं होते। Rules mix करके confident prediction बनाना method drift है। पहले report का section label और selected method पढ़ें।

Step 6: Dasha को calendar guarantee न बनाएं

Vimshottari एक traditional timing system है जो birth Moon Nakshatra से starting period और balance derive करता है; AstroSage भी इसे Moon Nakshatra आधारित बताता है।[4] Mahadasha broad period और Antardasha nested sub-period होती है। केवल period lord का generic paragraph पढ़कर exact event/date घोषित नहीं करनी चाहिए।

Step 7: Divisional charts और strength tables कब देखें?

D1/Rashi chart से base orientation लें। Navamsha (D9), Dashamsha (D10) और अन्य vargas को traditional refinement की तरह use किया जाता है, D1 को cancel करने के shortcut की तरह नहीं। Birth time uncertain हो तो finer divisional placements अधिक sensitive हो सकते हैं।

Ashtakavarga, Shadbal, Bhava Bal, Bhav Chalit/cusps, yogas, doshas और remedies advanced layers हैं। Beginners पहले Lagna, planets, houses और lords पर stable हों। दस अलग tables में favorable line खोजकर inconvenient evidence ignore करना confirmation bias है, chart synthesis नहीं।

कुंडली पढ़ते समय 7 आम गलतियाँ

1. Sign number को house number समझना।
2. Chart style पहचाने बिना clockwise/anti-clockwise counting करना।
3. गलत timezone या rounded time पर precise reading बनाना।
4. Empty house को “कुछ नहीं होगा” कहना।
5. एक dosha, yoga या exalted/debilitated label को पूरी kundli मानना।
6. Dasha lord से guaranteed event/date देना।
7. Medical, legal, financial या relationship decision को astrology से replace करना।

Astronomical calculation और scientific evidence की सीमा

Birth instant से planetary longitude और horizon point calculate करना astronomical/mathematical task है। उन positions से personality या future infer करना अलग astrological claim है। UC Berkeley Understanding Science के अनुसार testable astrological expectations को careful studies में जांचने पर evidence ने astrological ideas की validity support नहीं की।[5]
